Rachael Green

Album Cover for Single

It is safe to say that Rachael is not your typical artist.
Born and raised in the hills of East Tennessee on a farm you would think that Rachael's first choice of music as an artist would be country.
That is far from the truth.
To hear her speak you would think that also, but from the time she could utter a word, jazz, big band, rhythm and blues and pop music would be her favorite music and still is today.
Over the years listening to Michael and Janet Jackson, Paula Abdul, Whitney Houston, Toni Braxton, Mariah Carey, The Time, New Edition, Elton John and many many more to speak of, Rachael has cultivated a musical style and found her true voice comfortable in pop/jazz/r&b style music. With a classical piano background, cheer and dance choreagraphy, collegiate dance team national champion and NCA Allstar Award, and some acting under her belt, Rachael is an "independent" triple threat. She has now become an official singer/songwriter and is honing those skills everyday as to be competitive with the music industry. It is no surprise that she startled the judges of VH1 Diva Search 2003 with her rendition of Anita Baker's "Sweet Love", a choice that most people would find unusual. Being the top 75 of over 1000 contenders has been a stepping stone in Rachael's career along with a winning audition with B Street Live 2003. Recording over 20 original songs in the effort to establish "her sound" has brought her to 2008 with a groundbreaking single ("BACK OFF ME") written by Rachael and produced by Gary "LIL G" Jenkins of the legendary R&B group Silk. She has gained attention from several music industry veterans and is in the process of promoting her new single. The year 2009 will bring many exciting experiences for Rachael and her career. Be on the lookout for some major moves from Rachael Green.Rachael Greens song(Back Off Me) is being played on Rageneo's Internet Radio Station (Kings Level 3 Radio).
